The SC Bujinkan Dojo in Glendale is run by Adrian, who is a Ju-Dan (ιΆ¨) (10th degree blackbelt) and Shidoshi instructor. In addition to teaching at the Glendale Dojo, Adrian is also Dojo Cho (senior instructor) responsible for the Santa Clara Dojo, and teaches at the Santa Cruz Seminars.

Adrian had been training in Budo Taijutsu since 1988, and has trained with instructors in California, New York, and elsewhere in the United States, as well as training regularly in Japan with Hatsumi Sensei, and other of the Japanese Shihan teachers. Previous to Bujinkan training, Adrian has a history or martial arts training which extends back to the age of six, and includes Aikido, Shotokan Karate, Kuk Sool Won, Tai Chi, and Hung-Gar Kung Fu.

In addition to martial arts training, Adrian holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University in Physics, and has publications in Physics as well as Computer Science. Adrian has been Teaching Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu since 1994 when he founded the Columbia Bujinkan Dojo at Columbia University. In addition to Bujinkan Students, Adrian has taught Physics, Mathematics, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, and Electronics. Through these many fields, and positions in Academia and in private industry, the martial arts has been a love and a continuing pursuit for Adrian.
